Best bet – a box. So much to do with that. Robot, superhero, camping out – the works. Other fun things, freezing anything and seeing what happens. making unique hickey pucks to push alond the table. can be really fun with food coloring – but watch out, messy! :)

We have a “magic box” that I constantly fill with craft items that are mostly up cycled from random things, plastic container tops, colorful junk mail, crayons from restaurants, stuff you normally throw away or put in the recycle bin. The kids have so much fun coming up with crafts with it, yesterday we made a pirate ship!!!

I love to get out the tempra paints, an old teeshirt and a cardboard box and let my 2.5 year old go crazy painting it! He has so much fun painting cardboard boxes and we sometimes add stickers once the paint is dry too! :) (It’s way more exciting and painting paper!) :)

Save all of the extra buttons that come with clothes… they make for great craft projects!
