Each month we post a wish list for a different organization in town. It is our hope that people in the community who see this list might be able to help meet these needs in some way. If you have a wish list you would like posted, please send us an email with your attached wish list. If everyone gives just a little, we can help others.
Food Donations, Food Drives, and/or Cash Donations
The Angel's Depot was founded to provide food for the elderly poor to reduce hunger, malnutrition, and food insecurity among impoverished seniors in San Diego County.
We opened our doors in May 2006, and since then we have packed and distributed 16,686 food boxes to senior citizens who live on $950 or less per month. This equates to 350,406 meals! This nutritious, nonperishable, easily prepared food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is designed to last a full week, and is distributed at the end of the month, when low-income senior pantries are bare.
This is a free service to any senior citizen living in the San Diego County who is 60 years or older (or 55 with a disability) and makes $950 or less per month.

The Pajama Program provides warm pajamas and books to needy children, many waiting and hoping to be adopted. They are youngsters who do not know the comforts of a mother or father to tuck them into a cozy bed and read them a bedtime story. Many have been abandoned or abused, most deprived of any love at all.
Since 2001 we have provided more than 400,000 pajamas and books to children in need nationwide. Our Pajama Program segments on NBC's The TODAY Show which aired in December, 2008 and The Oprah Winfrey Show, which aired August, 2008 and twice in 2007, helped us grow to 73 chapters in 42 states nationwide.
The San Diego chaper of the Pajama Program started in March, 2009.
Our continued success is based on people and members like you who donate, so we can continue to build our very intricate exhibits. Please help the arts & culture by donating today.
