Each month we feature a mom making a difference in our community. We want to acknowledge working moms and stay at home moms. Suggest a mom by emailing us at info@sandiegoparent.com.

Stacey Ross is a stay-at-home mom who loves finding a good deal. Prior to launching San Diego Bargain Mama, Stacey held positions as a teacher, counselor, and school district project specialist. She also has experience as a community event coordinator and a sales representative. Her favorite role, however, remains that of mother to her young daughter and son. Stacey is also incredibly grateful for her supportive husband, Steve.
Live like there is no tomorrow.
My husband is an entrepreneur and I love that he turned his passion into his profession and is his own boss.
I would teach them to make wise and responsible choices and to think of the impact that doing so would have on others.
I think that success is measured by honorably achieving realistic goals, of course money is helpful in that equation, as well!
My amazing family is my greatest achievement in life.
Giving birth to my children, as trite as that may sound, is the most proud set of memories of my lifetime.
Finding enough time in the day to "get it all in" is hard. I do not sleep much.
I wish to become a very successful entrepreneur, travel often, and continue to have an at-home lifestyle with my family.
What's that? Actually, currently, it is walking/jogging with my new dog and chasing my kids around!
They would be surprised that I have a mellow, calm side! :)
Mostly San Fernando Valley (LA), some Arizona and Utah
3 brothers
I worked as in the student store in junior high selling popcorn for 5 cents. I was the "Popcorn Girl", and the cute boys would get an extra scoop!
I would fantasize about having my own magazine and radio show and organizing events.
Hands down: West Bistro in Carlsbad
I dig Playwerx, as I can watch the kids play for hours and catch up with friends there. It is a great two-fer.
"Bargain" - The Who :)
The King of Comedy
I like 30 Rock and Boston Legal.
Late nights in my home office!
It is actually a book by local authors, Mary Goulet and Heather Reider: It's All About You-Living the Life You Crave
I love my chocolate!
I would go through withdrawals without twitter.
Whatever I do, the day would include family, friends, and fun.
I have experienced great growth in a short period of time, so that keeps me burning the midnight oil.
I became a stay-at-home mom and wanted to remain with my kids, but help out the family, while learning something new and stimulating in the process.
The hardest part is putting work aside when I need to focus on the family first.
