The Fathers Resource Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt community service organization.
We exist to provide the community with fathering information, education, support, and prevention programs focused on positive parenting.
We serve as the area center for services necessary to develop and maintain an awareness of the rights and responsibilities related to fathers of all ages -- wed, unwed, never-married, divorced, divorcing, or parenting on your own.

This Parenting Center is incredible! The founder, Susie Walton, has set up over 30+ services & classes available for Parents, Teens and Children. Susie offers the ever enriching: Redirecting Children's Behavior Workshop (which I must admit, changed my life as a parent)! The center also offers Nanny training and placement and wonderful childrens playgroups. a program to help children when parents divorce or have a custody dispute

Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Clairemont Mesa, Escondido, La Mesa, Rancho Bernardo and San Diego.
Kids' Turn, San Diego is a six-week, whole family program for children when parents divorce or engage in a custody dispute. Parents and their children (age four and older) participate in the same workshop and are assigned to different classrooms. Parents learn to accomplish a child-centered, healthy divorce. Their children learn to express their thoughts and feelings and develop good coping skills. T he goal of Kids' Turn is to protect and promote the well-being of children as they grow up in two homes.
Cost? Parents' tuition ($50-$800) is based on household income. There is no charge for children. Tuition funds 24% of workshop costs.

LEGOLAND Model Mom Club is a weekly activity group that meets every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Weekly activities include Stroller StridesTM Fitness Walks (1st Thursday of the month), LEGO Explore Play Groups (2nd and 4th Thursday of the month), and Specialist Visits (3rd Thursday of the month).
