Enhance your parenting skills through this powerful and practical 3-week course that teaches effective parenting skills in a supportive, loving and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Learn the four principles of why children misbehave and how to nurture self-sufficient, responsible and self-confident children by using techniques that build mutual respect, create positive motivational messages, prevent sibling rivalry and minimize power struggles. Wizbots is THE premier place for girls and boys to learn the art and science of building and coding robots. With no prerequisites, Wizbots is the perfect opportunity for novices to first learn about robotics, yet it's self-paced format also acts to further the skills of those who already have experience. Girls on the Run is a 501(c)3 physical activity-based positive youth development program dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Girls learn their worth comes from within, that healthy relationships matter and that they can be a force for good in their community through a fun, experience based curriculum that creatively integrates running.

Meeting twice a week in small teams, volunteer coaches teach 3rd-8th grade girls important life skills through engaging lessons and fun movement activities. Throughout the 10-week program, girls discuss important topics such as self-care, developing a support system, and impacting their community. At the end of each season, all of our teams come together and complete our one-of-a-kind, celebratory 5k!

Each year, GOTRSD is committed to expanding our program so that more girls in San Diego County have the opportunity to reach their limitless potential. Teams can meet at a school, park, church, or other community location.

Hullabaloo is farm-fresh, free-range, organic kid-folk in a genre filled with musical Twinkies and Ding-Dongs. Don't get us wrong (and please don't sue us, Hostess Foods Inc.), Twinkies and Ding-Dongs are great in small doses. But, after a while, you need something with a little more substance. 2017 Ocean Beach Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off Festival

Join more than 70,000 visitors for an oceanfront chili cook-off, five stages of continuous live music and entertainment, the community mural project, Artists Alley, carnival rides and games, food and vendor booths, a beachside beer garden and more. The one-of-a-kind Hodad's Burger-Eating Competition will offer contestants a chance to be featured on the Hodad's Wall of Fame in Ocean Beach.
