Become a Playgroup Captain and you can schedule the events. We’re actively seeking Moms, Dads, Grandparents, and child care providers to open new playgroups. Do you love your current playgroup but have younger siblings? We are in immediate need for 2009 baby playgroups. Remember your enthusiasm for your first playgroup visit with your older child? Now you can reignite the spark! You can bring your hard earned expertise and fun playgroup ideas to the next generation of Parent Connection members.
You can select from over 160 playgroups that are organized by geographic location and the child’s age. We can also help you start a playgroup of your own. There are specialty playgroups for a wide variety of interests including groups that are language-oriented. We can help you find or establish a group that will be right for you and your child.

Playgroup Captain Training
Have you considered forming a playgroup? Want to add some fresh activities to your playgroup’s calendar? Need help with playgroup problem solving? Being a playgroup captain is one of the most important and rewarding Parent Connection positions. Join us for this workshop full of helpful tips and new ideas that make it fun and easy to be a playgroup captain. Learn how to build a roster, organize playgroup communication, plan events and troubleshoot problems. Refreshments will be served. This event is free.

What is a VIP Playgroup?
You achieve VIP playgroup status when all of your playgroup members are Parent Connection members. A minimum of eight members qualify as a VIP playgroup.
