Movie Review by Pam Nagata who was invited to preview the movie.
Lincoln was a great revisit to an important American leader of our time. Â Not only to we get a refresher course in American history, we are reminded of what it means to be a true leader and a person of significance. Â The story itself is formulaic, offering no cinematic bells and whistles enabling the brilliant script of Tony Kushner to shine and to be ingested properly. Daniel Day Lewis’ performance was refreshing and genuine (as expected) and seeing Sally Field back in the game was a delight. A definite recommend, especially for families with junior high and high school aged children.
