Every Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. True Teen Recovery hosts a Family Group session for families with adolescents struggling with substance abuse and behavioral issues. This is a safe confidential environment where families work to establish a level of trust allowing them to talk openly and honestly. True Teen Recovery Director Kiley San Martin CADC II with 14 years of experience in adolescent treatment leads the group sessions.
Group focus is on teaching parents how to deal with teens struggling with drugs/alcohol and how to set healthy boundaries. Teens will learn to develop coping skills, discover healthy communication techniques, have access to many types of support, will be taught healthy structure, and will learn accountability.Â
